15 In The First Class To Be Inducted Into Howell Motors Hockey HOF

Fifteen hockey players, coaches, contributors and founders are set for the first class to be inducted into the Howell Motors Hockey Hall of Fame at the Cornerstone CFCU Ice Arena in Lockport.

The 15 individuals include founders Dr. James Westhafer, Ralph Lewis DVM and John Gerald York; contributors Dr. Albert G. Connette, Donald Kaufman and Peter Wendel; coaches Vic Cook, Bob Stratton and Bill Watson; players Richard G. Connette, Terry Dixon, Rick Eberhart, Jim Musto, Tom Snedeker and Jeff Thompson.

They will all be inducted in ceremonies that will begin at 7 p.m. with wine and hors d’oeuvres.

Former Buffalo Sabres player and announcer, Jim Lorentz, will be among the special guests on hand. Nationally known baseball writer, Tim Wendel, will be the Master of Ceremonies for the event.
