ROCHESTER, NY — The United Collegiate Hockey Conference announced the conference’s All-Academic team selections for the league’s 2020-21 season. The UCHC’s All-Academic distinction is an opportunity for the league to recognize student athletes at their member institutions, not only for the work they put in to be part of a collegiate hockey program, but the work they do inside the classroom to prepare for their future careers.
Elmira had 16 recipients on the women’s side – including Jess Adams ’21, Eliza Beaudin ’22, Catherine Champagne ’24, Emma Crocker ’21, Emma Edgington ’23, Maggie Gilman ’23, Elizabeth Hanson ’21, Bella Hanson ’21, Sydney Harris ’21, Lexi Hoffmann ’24, Kelly Matthews ’23, Brooke McArdle ’22, Mary McCafferty ’22, Morgan Mordini ’22, Madi Morton ’24, and Tristen Tolan ’21.
For All-Academic consideration, member schools submit the names of players who meet the conference’s eligibility criteria. To be eligible, a player must have completed at least one academic year at their current institution, while holding a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 for all terms of the stipulated 2020-21 academic year.
