Chicago, IL – USA Hockey announced yesterday the 20-man roster for the U.S. Under-17 Select Team that will compete at the Under-17 Five Nations Tournament from Aug. 10-16 in Arosa, Switzerland. The United States Hockey League boasts 16 total draft picks from the 2015 USHL Phase One Draft, including tenders Brannon McManus (Omaha Lancers), Jacob Tortora (Youngstown Phantoms) and Joey Keane (Dubuque Fighting Saints).
McManus led all players in points scored with 11 points (5g 6a) in 5 games played at the USA Hockey’s Boys Select 16 Player Development Camp, which took place July 7-13 in Williamsville, New York. All 20 players on the final roster participated in the Development Camp.
Fargo Force led all USHL teams with three draft picks selected to the U17 Select Team, while Des Moines Buccaneers, Lincoln Stars and Youngstown Phantoms all had two each.
