The Watertown Squirt Rapid team played in a four team tournament, hosted by Whitestown.
The rapids advanced to the finals, winning each of the three games leading up to the championship.
The Championship game was Watertown Rapids vs. Whitestown. Whitestown came out with a mission, and got their first goal within the first minute of the game. The Rapids team never gave up, but never led at any point in regulation. At the end of regulation, it was knotted up at 3, on the first face off, the Watertown Rapids, pushed into the Whitestown zone, and a pass in front of their net, and the first shot clinched the win.
The game ended 11 seconds into overtime.
