MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – The Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) announced its weekly awards Monday, naming Morrisville State College women’s hockey defender Ciara Lark (Mildmay, Ontario) the Rookie of the Week for the week ending November 29.

Lark continued her consistent play on the blue line for the Mustangs, as they went 0-2-1 on the week’s action.

On Tuesday, Lark was part of a defensive unit that held Utica College to just one goal, before notching the game-tying assist against Sacred Heart to force an overtime period on Sunday as the Mustangs settled for the 1-1 draw.

Her assist on Sunday was her fourth of the season.

The freshman is a graduate of Walkerton District Community School and is majoring in applied psychology at Morrisville State. She is the daughter of Jacquie and Bill Lark of Mildmay, Ontario.
