BUFFALO, NY — The Erie Community College Kats defeated the Hudson Valley Vikings, 3-1 Saturday afternoon at HarborCenter.
Sean Spohr opening the scoring for the Vikings in the first period, giving Hudson Valley an early 1-0 lead. ECC came back to tie it, 1-1 on a goal by Zachary Klinko.
The Kats took the lead, 2-1 in the second period on Nick Scholer’s goal. Brendan McFall iced the game for ECC with an empty net goal late in the third period.
ECC outshot Hudson Valley for the game, 39-13.
