By Warren Kozireski — Buffalo, NY — Team USA falls to Team Sweden 4-2 in the World Junior semi-finals in Buffalo ending their bid to repeat.
They do have a chance to medal for the third consecutive year for the first time in the program’s history in the Bronze Medal game Friday at 4pm.
“We have something to play for; our mission is not done yet,” Team USA head coach Bob Motzko said. “As disappointed as we are right now, USA hockey is still a country developing a level of high standard and it’s up to us to go out on a strong note tomorrow.”
