The Buffalo Stars Hockey Organization will once again raise standard when it comes to Game Day production of their Empire Junior Hockey League Team.

The Stars have invested in additional Game Day production equipment that will allow the use of multiple cameras and the import of pre taped audio and video. The use of multiple cameras will allow the production staff to focus in on close plays or split between various areas of action on the ice.

In addition, the production staff can offer graphics to highlight players upon scoring of a goal or other important play. The system also gives the capability of flashing messages, fade in and fade out and a whole assortment of other features. Fans will now have the ability to facebook or twitter in their questions and have them answered live during the game broadcast.

All Buffalo Stars Junior home games and a number of their youth organization games will be broadcast this season over the Buffalo Stars UStream Channel:http://www.ustream.tv/channel/buffalo-stars-junior-hockey Unlike other Live Internet Broadcast options which charge the viewer a fee, UStream broadcasts Buffalo Stars events FREE of CHARGE to the viewer.

The Stars have also invested in equipment which will allow for spectators at Holiday Rinks to view the game live from the Rink 1 Upper Lobby. When a live game is not being shown, the Stars will show replays of games past as well as use this as a communication tool to promote upcoming Stars Events and Promotions.

As always, Fans of the Buffalo Stars can purchase a CD of the game immediately following a broadcast.

The Stars are pleased to welcome to the Production Team: Amanda Brennan as Director of Broadcast Operations. Amanda is a Communications/Broadcast Graduate from SUNY Fredonia. In addition the Stars welcome back Play by Play and Camera Man Keith Amondis and Color Commentator Tom Mullen. The Stars Technical Advisor is Jeff Willis. The Stars Music Director is Mike Flatley and the Game Day Music and PA Announcer is Christopher Meindl. Together the 6 of them make up the Buffalo Stars Broadcast Department.

The Buffalo Stars will also premier a new Monthly Internet Broadcast called THE PRESS BOX. With Host Tom Mullen and Keith Amondis, the Stars will offer a monthly insight into the Buffalo Stars Hockey Organization and ice hockey in general. The Stars opening broadcast will take place at Noon on Saturday, September 15th live from Holiday Twin Rinks.

The improved video capabilities will also give our coaching staff a better opportunity to break down game video and use it as a tool to help improve our players performance. With our state of the art video software our coaches are able to break down game video frame by frame with the use of a hand held wand. This technology also allows us to focus on specific players for use in marketing of them to higher levels of hockey.

The Buffalo Stars Juniors are pleased to make this investment in our program which will be to the benefit of our players and fans alike. Fans will be able to get a preliminary look at how this new system operates during our Labor Day Showcase next week. All Rink One games will be telecast live on our Ustream Channel.
