Northern Educate Hockey and Lacrosse Academy will be hosting an Open House at Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm, on Thursday, August 8th. Northern Educate Sports Academies originated in Minnesota and is expanding their operations to Rochester, NY beginning this fall. Rochester will be the first location throughout the Northeast to offer such a terrific opportunity. Northern Educate Sports Academy is designed for boys and girls grades K-12 and at this time has sports development programs for hockey, and lacrosse.
Academically, Northern Educate Sports Academy offers individualized curriculum, challenging each student while working at their own pace to help them learn to the best of their ability. Because the student-to-teacher ratio is no more than 6:1, instructors are able to provide one-on-one help on a daily basis to ensure students are progressing on track and meeting the mandatory grade requirements.
“Every student is unique and learns at a different pace,” said Dr. Shawn Black, founder and president of Northern Educate Sports Academy. “Our goal is to help each child excel in their studies and we provide the one-on-one attention they need in order to do so. We work with each child to ensure they achieve their full potential whether it’s in their school work or on the ice or field.”
Instructors will provide 480 hours of professionally developed on-ice/on-field curriculum based on decades of experience in a wide variety of individual skills. Every athlete will participate in the Athletic Performance Program and each day will work on their athleticism, agility and strength.
Please join us on Thursday, August 8th, from 5:00 pm – 8:00pm in the Hampton Room to learn more and meet our Education Director, as well as Hockey and Lacrosse Directors. Should you need additional information please contact the Northern Educate office at Bill Gray’s Regional Iceplex (585) 672-3855.
