The Syracuse Ice Hockey team has announced two games to be aired on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel. The Orange will face Colgate on November 26 and Cornell on December 3 on the regionally televised network, marking the first time a Syracuse ice hockey game has been televised.

“It’s great to see our sport receive some well-deserved television exposure,” Head ice hockey coach Paul Flanagan said. “We are all big fans and very appreciative of what Time Warner Cable SportsChannel does to promote Syracuse University Athletics.”

Both games will be played at the War Memorial, home of the Syracuse Crunch, an AHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning.  The Orange has not played at the War Memorial since the program’s first season in 2008-09 and will host three games there this season.

Assistant ice hockey coach Brendon Knight and selected players will be the halftime guests during the men’s basketball exhibition game on Friday night. Fans can watch the game on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel at 7 p.m.

Time Warner Cable SportsChannel is available in HD on channel 323 in Albany, central New York, and Rochester and on channel 713 in Buffalo.
