In addition, sophomore Ben Gamache (Longlac, Ontario) and first-year Mitch Beyer (Clifton Park, N.Y.) earned spots on the league’s weekly honor roll.

Gamache has produced eight goals and 11 assists for 19 points this season. He ranks second in the ECAC West with six power-play goals and is tied for second with 10 power-play points. The Statesmen will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 8, when they host Elmira for another ECAC West contest at The Cooler at 7 p.m. At Saturday’s game, Colleges Against Cancer will be holding a fundraiser for Relay for Life. For a $2 donation, fans can make a snowman out of construction paper which will be donated to an assisted living center. The goal is to not only raise money but to increase awareness for the Relay for Life which will be held at the end of March.
