TV Schedule for Sled Hockey; Paralympics from Sochi

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – NBC Sports and TeamUSA.org will provide unprecedented coverage of the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games, including eight hours of sled hockey action on NBC and NBC Sports Network.

The 2014 Paralympic Winter Games run March 7-16 in Sochi, Russia. Team USA is the defending gold medalists from the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver, B.C. The U.S. won the bronze medal at the 2006 Paralympic Winter Games in Torino, Italy, and captured its first gold medal at the 2002 Games in Salt Lake City, Utah.

NBC Sports will broadcast four sled hockey games, including live airings of the two semifinal games onThurs., March 13, on NBC Sports Network, and a one-hour delayed broadcast of the gold-medal game on Sat., March 15, on NBC. NBCSN will also air Team USA’s preliminary-round match-up with Russia on Tues., March 11, via tape delay. All U.S. games in the tournament will be streamed live atTeamUSA.org.
