Monsignor Martin Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Coach Linda Groff-Mroz will hold her annual “Drop the Gloves Conditioning Clinic” Saturday,s July 12 through August 23 at Northtowns and North Buffalo rinks.
Groff-Mroz is a former Niagara University Women’s Ice Hockey DI player. While at NU her team played in the Frozen Four and placed third in the nation. Growing up in rinks in and around Amherst and WNY, she has been playing organized hockey since she was five years old. She still plays in Senior leagues in the area. Groff-Mroz also coaches Varsity field hokey, lacrosse, roller hockey an softball.
This summer conditioning program will provide girl’s outstanding instruction and individual attention. It’s a fun and exciting way to get your hockey legs back before the official 2014-15 season begins.
Players will learn nw skills and game tactics; develop individual techniques and skills, along with team strategy and situations.
Cost is $100 per person.
