GRANDA, Spain — Kaley Mooney (Pittsburgh, Pa./Miami University) scored three times, and Molly O’Neil (Aurora, Colo./Colorado State University) scored twice to help lead the U.S. Women’s National University Team to a 9-1 victory over host country Spain today at the 2015 Winter World University Game.
With the win, the U.S. Women’s National University Team (1-0-0-2; W-OTW-OTL-L) finished preliminary-round play and will next play in the relegation round. Time and opponent are to be determined. Check USAHockey.com for updates.
