Three Stars of the Week
1. Anthony Duclair, LW, Quebec Remparts (QMJHL) – Duclair tallied five points (one goal, four assists) in three games with Quebec over the past week. He established a QMJHL season-high with three assists and tied season-highs with four points and a plus-three rating in the Remparts’ 5-2 win over Rouyn-Noranda on Feb. 21.

The 19-year-old has recorded 16 points (six goals, 10 assists) in the last 10 games, and he has registered a point in 12 of 17 QMJHL contests this season.

2. Adam Tambellini, C, Calgary Hitmen (WHL) – Tambellini registered a point in each of Calgary’s three games over the past week (two goals, three assists), and he posted multi-point games in each of the last two contests.

Tambellini has a four-game point streak (three goals, three assists), and he has recorded a point in six of the last seven contests (four goals, five assists), as well as 17 of the last 20 games (19 goals, 14 assists).

The Rangers’ third round pick (65th overall) in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft ranks third in the WHL in plus/minus rating (plus-43), ranks fourth in goals (41), and ranks ninth in points (72) this season.

3. Pavel Buchnevich, Severstal Cherepovets (KHL) – Buchnevich tallied three points (two goals, one assist) in three games, and recorded a goal in each of the last two contests.

Buchnevich is one of two KHL players with 13 or more goals this season who have registered all of their goals at even strength. He is tied for second on Severstal in even strength goals (13), ranks third in goals (13), assists (16), and points (29), and is tied for fifth in plus/minus rating (plus-eight).

Emerging From the Pack
Notes from the Wolf Pack’s four contests over the past week:

Oscar Lindberg tallied four points (three goals, one assist) over the past week, including the game-winning goal in overtime in back-to-back contests on Feb. 20 at Springfield and Feb. 21 at Lehigh Valley. He has recorded 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in the last 21 games, as well as 21 points (eight goals, 13 assists) in the last 29 games. Lindberg, who is playing in his second professional season in North America, is two goals and eight points shy of matching his 2013-14 totals in each category, although he has played in 21 fewer games so far this season.

Danny Kristo recorded three points (one goal, two assists) in the Wolf Pack’s four games during the past week. Kristo has tallied six points (four goals, two assists) in the last six games, and he has notched 14 points (eight goals, six assists) in the last 13 contests. He ranks second on Hartford in goals (17) and plus/minus rating (plus-eight) and he ranks third in points (34) this season.

Mat Bodie tallied an assist in each of Hartford’s first two games during the past week, extending his assist/point streak to a season/career-high four games (four assists over the span). The AHL rookie leads the Wolf Pack in plus/minus rating (plus-10) and ranks fourth on the team in assists (18) in 2014-15. Bodie ranks second among AHL rookie defensemen in assists and is tied for fourth among AHL rookie defensemen in points (21) this season.

Quick Hits
Brandon Halverson, G, Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (OHL) – Halverson won each of the two games he appeared in, stopping 31 of 34 shots in each contest. He extended his winning streak to six games (1.50 GAA, .951 SV%, 2 SO over the span), and he has posted a 25-1-2 record, along with a 2.39 GAA, .921 SV%, and 3 SO in his last 29 appearances.

Ryan Graves, D, Quebec Remparts (QMJHL) – Graves recorded three points (one goal, two assists) in three contests with Quebec over the past week. He has notched seven points (three goals, four assists) in the last seven games, including four points (two goals, two assists) in the last four contests. Graves is tied for third among QMJHL defensemen in goals (13) this season.

Keegan Iverson, RW, Portland Winterhawks (WHL) – Iverson registered a goal in each of Portland’s three contests over the past week, and tallied the game-winning goal on Feb. 20 vs. Vancouver. He has tallied a point in each of his last four games (three goals, one assists), and he has posted a plus-five rating over the span. Iverson has recorded five points (four goals, one assist) in his last six games and 14 points (six goals, eight assists) in his last 21 games.

Ryan Mantha, D, Niagara IceDogs (OHL) – Mantha registered a point in each of Niagara’s three games over the past week (two goals, one assist), including a goal in each of the last two contests. He has tallied seven points (five goals, two assists) and has posted a plus-13 rating, in the last 10 games. Mantha has also notched 10 points (five goals, five assists) in the last 14 games, as well as 14 points (five goals, nine assists) in the last 21 contests.

Daniel Walcott, D, Blainville-Boisbriand Armada (QMJHL) – Walcott recorded an assist in two of Blainville-Boisbriand’s three contests during the past week (two assists). He has tallied a point in seven of the last eight games, recording eight points (one goal, seven assists) over the span. Walcott has also registered 17 points (four goals, 13 assists) in the last 17 contests. He has recorded 32 assists this season, eclipsing his total from 2013-14 (29), and he has matched his point total from a season ago (39) despite playing in 17 fewer games.

Cristoval Nieves, RW, University of Michigan (NCAA) – Nieves notched an assist in the Wolverines’ contest on Feb. 22 against Ohio State. He has tallied 10 points (two goals, eight assists) in his last eight games and 22 points (six goals, 16 assists) in his last 23 contests.
