CIAMPINI INKS DEAL WITH WORCESTER SHARKS
WORCESTER, MA – The last seven days have been a whirlwind for Daniel Ciampini.
In the course of a week, Ciampini finished his final term at Union College, made his professional debut in the American Hockey League, earned All-ECAC Hockey First Team honors, was named a Hobey Baker finalist, and scored his first pro goal.
Today he added another item to his list of accomplishments, signing an AHL contract with the Worcester Sharks for the remainder of the 2014-15 season. Ciampini initially signed an amateur try-out contract with Worcester on March 18.
On Saturday, Ciampini compiled two points (goal, assist) to earn No. 1 Star of the Game honors in Worcester’s 6-1 win over Lehigh Valley.
