BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Sabres announced the team has capped season ticket sales for the 2015-16 season at 16,000 tickets. The cap is designed to ensure the availability of mini packs and individual game tickets for all fans.

“The fact that we had such a high rate of renewal from our season ticket holders is really a testament to the direction our organization is headed,” Sabres president Russ Brandon said. “There’s a tremendous amount of excitement surrounding our team and we can’t wait to get on the ice.”

The Sabres had 96 percent of season ticket holders renew their tickets for the 2015-16 season, marking the 10th consecutive season featuring a renewal rate higher than 90 percent. The team still has more than 2,000 people on the Blue & Gold Club season ticket waiting list.

With season tickets capped at 16,000, fans are encouraged to order mini packs to save on box office prices and guarantee the best possible seat locations. Fans that held mini packs last season can renew their mini packs starting at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 27, and mini packs will be available to the general public at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3.

Individual game tickets will go on sale to all fans on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. All tickets can be purchased in person at the First Niagara Center Box Office, by phone at 1-888-223-6000 or online at www.sabres.com.
