Lockport tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but New York held on for a 6-5 victory.
A goal by Sam Marolda put New York up 6-4 in the third period, but Lockport pulled to within one on Christopher Gasiewicz’s tally 19:36 into the third period.
Marolda was all over the ice for New York, as he had two goals in the win.
