DANBURY, Conn. – For the second-straight week, senior captain Bridget Balisy earned Eastern College Athletic Conference West (ECACW) Player of the Week accolades.
Balisy collected seven points on two goals and five assists, propelling the Cardinals to a 3-0-0 week.
On Tuesday, Balisy netted a goal and a pair of assists in a 4-1 win. Over the weekend in a pair of games against Buffalo State, she scored the second goal to secure a 2-0 win against the Bengals before providing three assists on Sunday in a 5-0 victory.
Overall, the senior had a hand in seven of Plattsburgh State’s 11 goals during the week.
On Sunday, the Brampton, Ontario native earned her 100th career point. Balisy now has 101 points in 102 games as a Cardinal.
Balisy and the Cardinals finished the fall semester with a perfect 12-0-0 record. Plattsburgh State will return to the ice for the Theresa Humes Tournament in Montréal, Quebec from January 2-4.
