BUFFALO, N.Y. (December 14, 2015) — The Buffalo Sabres today announced that the team will again be hosting a winter clothing drive at three home games during the month of December.
Fans attending the games at First Niagara Center on Dec. 15 (New Jersey), Dec. 17 (Anaheim) and Dec. 19 (Chicago) are encouraged to bring new or gently used winter clothing, including hats, gloves, coats, boots, scarves and sweaters. Other clothing will also be accepted. All donated items will be given to the Buffalo City Mission. The Buffalo Jr. Sabres will be volunteering at the games, accepting the donated items and cash donations.
Fans who donate items will receive a voucher entitling them to $20 off 300 Level II tickets for select Silver home games. The vouchers can be redeemed for the following games:
Thursday, December 31 vs. NY Islanders (6 p.m.)
Saturday, January 2 vs. Detroit (1 p.m.)
Saturday, January 16 vs. Washington (7 p.m.)
Sunday, February 14 vs. Colorado (12:30 p.m.)
Saturday, March 5 vs. Minnesota (1 p.m.)
Saturday, March 12 vs. Carolina (1 p.m.)
Wednesday, March 16 vs. Montreal (7 p.m.)
Friday, March 18 vs. Ottawa (7 p.m.)
Saturday, March 26 vs. Winnipeg (1 p.m.)
In addition, fans who donate will receive a coupon for 25 fan advantage points redeemable for prizes from the store in the Sabres’ Fan Advantage smart phone application.
