Hamilton College Men’s Hockey Receives Votes In Latest DIII Polls

Hamilton College received votes in this week’s D3hockey.com and USCHO.com Division III Top 15 polls.

The Continentals (8-3-1, 4-2-1 NESCAC) have 12 points in the D3hockey.com poll and six in the USCHO.com poll. Both rankings were released on Monday.

Hamilton is unbeaten in its last seven games with six wins and one tie. The Continentals haven’t lost since Dec. 5, and are in third place in the 10-team NESCAC standings.

Robbie Murden ’17 leads the conference with 10 goals and 16 points. Murden is also No. 1 in the conference with six power-play points and three power-play goals.

Evan Buitenhuis ’18 leads Division III with a .959 save percentage and he is fourth with a 1.42 goals against average. Buitenhuis has started 10 of the team’s 12 games this season.

Hamilton travels to Connecticut College for a NESCAC game on Saturday, Jan. 16, and moves on to Tufts University for more conference action on Sunday, Jan. 17.
