HAMILTON – Colgate forward Adam Dauda was named ECAC Hockey Rookie-of-the-Week, league officials announced on Tuesday.
A native of Kitchener, Ont., Dauda dished out four assists to help the Raiders capture three of four points during their trip to the Capital District last weekend.
Dauda began the weekend with primary assists on the first two goals in Colgate’s 4-2 come-from-behind victory at Union on Jan. 15. He followed that performance with another two-helper effort in the Raiders’ 2-2 tie at No. 20 RPI on Saturday.
In six games since joining the Raiders at the semester break, Dauda has tallied six assists. Five of those helpers have come during Colgate’s current three-game unbeaten streak.
