L-R: Taylor Story, Emily King, Lina Mirabella, Cara Klopp, Miranda Butler, Grace Simmons. Lina, Emily and Grace are the 1st 6 year members of the team. Lina Mirabella scored some clutch goals for Kenmore including the Section VI Game Winner in 2012 and the Federation GW in 2014. 2015-16 Captain Grace Simmons spoke in front of the Ken-Ton School Board as a 5th grader along with me and her Dad Jim as we stumped hard to get Girls Varsity Hockey established. Emily King scored some huge goals to get us back into contention in many big games including her 3rd period goal in the 2014 Fed Championship Game that tied the game and sent it into overtime. Taylor played 4 seasons and provided a ton of grit of was tough to play against. Miranda played 2 seasons and Cara was a backup to Lauren Pray for 2 years before she got a chance and got a shutout in her very 1st official start. Congrats to all of you for being a great bunch of girls on a close knit team.
