The Devils will try and rebound with three games this week ahead of the 2016 AHL All-Star Classic. Albany hosts the Hershey Bears Wednesday and the Utica Comets Friday. The team then travels to face the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Saturday. All games are at 7 pm.

Top Performers
Jim O’Brien and Ben Thomson led the Devils last week with three and two points, respectively. O’Brien had an assist against Hartford and followed with a pair of goals Friday against St.
John’s. Thomson started the week with two goals against Hartford, but one goal was later changed to Rod Pelley. Thomson still earned an assist on the play for his second multi-point
game of the season.

Helping The Big Club
With Patrik Elias, Jon Merrill, John Moore and Jiri Tlusty all on injured reserve, the New Jersey Devils have leaned on several Albany players to continue their push towards a Stanley Cup
Playoff bid. Currently, Joseph Blandisi, Reid Boucher and Seth Helgeson are playing in the NHL after starting the season in the AHL. Blandisi has six points (1g-5a) in 10 games and Boucher has three points (2g-1a) in seven outings. Helgeson was recalled on Friday.
