Hobart College senior forward Brad Robbins (Murrieta, Calif.) was named to the D3hockey.com National Team of the Week after leading the Statesmen with five points in two ECAC West wins last weekend.
Robbins posted a natural hat trick in Hobart’s 3-0 victory over Nazareth on Friday night. He notched a goal in each period. The next day, he scored the Statesmen’s first goal and added an assist as Hobart completed the sweep of the Golden Flyers with a 6-2 win.
Robbins leads the Statesmen with 13 goals and ranks second on the team with 20 points this season. He ranks third in the league in goals and fifth in points. Robbins is tied for sixth in the conference in game-winning goals (2) and tied for 10th in power-play goals (2). He is tied for 14th in the nation in goals per game (0.72).
Hobart (14-2-2, 7-1-0 ECAC West) will be back in action this weekend, hosting two ECAC West games against Utica (9-6-3, 3-3-2). The Statesmen and the Pioneers will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29 and at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30.
