(Rochester, NY) – The Rochester Americans will host their annual Wendy’s Skate with the Amerks event on Tuesday, Feb. 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. outdoors at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Park at Manhattan Square.
Amerks players will be in attendance at the skate to sign autographs and pose for photos. Fans that wish to attend can pick up a free pass at any Monroe County Wendy’s location while supplies last as the City of Rochester is offering free admission for the event.
Passes are available upon request on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, as each location has a limited quantity for distribution. Fans must have a pass to attend, and each pass admits one person. Skates and helmets are also required.
Skate rentals will be available for a fee of $3, however, participants are advised to bring their own skates as limited skates and sizes are available. The rink is located at 353 Court Street Downtown at what was formerly known as Manhattan Square Park. For more information about MLK Park Ice Rink, visit www.cityofrochester.gov/mlkparkicerink.
