Justin Andriaccio finished with two points to lead Lockport to a 4-1 victory over Syracuse.
Lockport also got points from Dylan Jenkins, who also had one goal and one assist. Lockport also had goals scored by Brendan McFall and Christopher Gasiewicz, who each put in one. In addition, Lockport received assists from Mark Friol, who had one, Fankie Bodami, who had two, and Gibson Stuart, who had three.
Syracuse stifled Lockport’s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.
Syracuse was led by Nate Walker, who scored the team’s only goal. Walker scored 12:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Syracuse. Hunter Soden picked up the assist.
Sam Fitzpatrick made 22 saves for Lockport on 23 shots. Lockport incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Kyle VanWagner recorded 18 saves for Syracuse. Syracuse incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
