Syracuse rallied from three goals down to secure a 5-4 win over Lockport.
Syracuse never led in the game until netting the game winner. Syracuse fell behind 4-1 after a goal by Lockport’s Andrew Logar at 9:36 in the second period. Syracuse tied things up at 4-4 on a goal by Nate Walker at 10:37 in the third period. Syracuse netted the game winner on the power play at 16:53 in the third period on a goal by Walker.
Syracuse bested its season scoring average. Syracuse has scored at the pace of 2.7 goals per game during the current campaign. Syracuse’s penalty kill unit could not stop Lockport’s power play, which converted on two of three opportunities.
