Catenacci, Kasdorf Agree To Contracts With The Sabres

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Sabres announced the team has signed forward Daniel Catenacci and goaltender Jason Kasdorf to two-way contracts.

Catenacci (5’9”, 191 lbs., 3/9/1993) made his NHL debut for the Sabres during the 2015-16 season, recording seven shots on goal in 11 games. Buffalo’s third-round pick (77th overall) in the 2011 NHL Draft, Catenacci also posted 24 points (12+12) in 50 games for the Rochester Americans (AHL) last season. In 196 career AHL games, the Richmond Hill, Ontario native has recorded 76 points (38+38) and 131 penalty minutes.

Kasdorf (6’3”, 172 lbs., 5/18/1992) also made his NHL debut in 2015-16, making 26 saves against Columbus on April 8 in his only appearance. Acquired in a trade from the Winnipeg Jets on Feb. 11, 2015, Kasdorf posted a 38-37-9 record with a .920 save percentage and a 2.39 goals-against average in 88 career games for RPI (NCAA) before turning pro last season.
