The Stampede are happy to have Nick Mandia back for 2016-2017. Mandia or “Dingo”as his teammates call him has worked very hard in the off season to prepare for his second season with the Stampede. “Nick has been working very hard both on and off the ice this spring and summer and we have followed up on his progress regularly with Ken Blum and Nick’s dad, Bert Mandia. states Stampede coach Mike Beavis

Mandia the 5’10” 180lb forward from Utica, NY. will be full time with the Stampede this year as last season he split time with the Stampede and Mohawk Valley High School although he did attend most every game and practice during the season with the Stampede as well as Mohawk Valley. The 18 year old Mandia is gearing up to have a break out season in 2016-2017 with the Stampede. “Nick is a great guy to have in the room, the guy’s love him and he works hard day in and day out. He’s the kind of guy you just want on your team.” states coach Jason Lefevre.

Mandia will join his teammates on August 29th for training camp at the Ice-Plex on the campus of Morrisville State College in preparation for the 2016-2017 NA3HL season. The Stampede open the regular season on the road on September 17th and 18th VS the Maine Wild in Biddeford, ME. Then on September 23rd the Stampede open at home and will host the Roc-City Royals at the Ice-Plex at 7:00 PM.
