BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Binghamton Senators, American Hockey League affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Ottawa Senators, announced today that fans who come to the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena this season will have an extra bit of control over what music they hear to celebrate goals.
The Binghamton Senators’ contest for the 2016-17 goal celebration song allows fans to submit any song they want. Out of everyone who submits the eventual winning song, one will be randomly selected to win two tickets, and drop the ceremonial faceoff prior to a mutually agreed upon game.
The contest ends on Saturday, October 1, at 5 p.m. EST.
The team will play a home-and-home set of preseason games with the Rochester Americans on Thursday, October 6, and at home, Saturday, October 8. Both games start at 7:05 p.m. The B-Sens home opener is Saturday, October 15, at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. Single game tickets go on sale September 19 at 10 a.m.
