TORONTO/NEW YORK – Hockey Canada announced that Buffalo Sabres forward Ryan O’Reilly has been added to its 23-man roster for the World Cup of Hockey 2016, the best-on-best international hockey championship from Sept. 17 to Oct. 1, 2016. He replaces injured Dallas Stars forward Tyler Seguin. O’Reilly, 25, won the Lady Byng Trophy in 2014 and has registered 111 goals and 306 points in 498 career NHL games.
