Last season, the Winnipeg, Manitoba, native made his NHL debut for the Buffalo Sabres in a 4-1 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Apr. 8. Prior to turning pro, Kasdorf completed a four-year collegiate career at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (R.P.I.), posting a record of 38-37-9 over 88 games for the Engineers.
