HOW IT HAPPENED
Anthony Passero (Fort Erie, ON/Lakeshore) added a goal and an assist, and Hugo Petit (Chelsea, QC/CIH Acad.) also scored for the Bengals.
Taylor Pryce (Newmarket, ON/Cardinal Carter) and Zach Remers (Clarence, NY/Canisius) registered a pair of assists each in the win.
Passero opened the scoring with a power-play marker in less than eight minutes into the game off a feed from Remers.

The Bengals pushed the lead to 2-0 with a shorthanded marker later in the frame when Pryce and Nieminen converted a 2-on-0 breakaway into Nieminen’s fifth goal of the season.

Geneseo started to take control in the second period, but DeLaVergne kept the Knights in check, including thwarting a 2-on-0 breakaway during an ill-timed line change by the Bengals.

Petit put the game out of reach just 50 seconds later with his second of the season from Passero and Remers.

The Knights held a 28-21 advantage in shots, including 22-11 over the final 40 minutes.
