USA U18s Skate Past Czech Republic, 3-1, At U18 Five Nations Tourney

SUNDSVALL, Sweden — Josh Norris (Oxford, Mich.) registered three assists for the U.S. National Under-18 Team in its 3-1 victory against the Czech Republic at the 2017 Under-18 Five Nations Tournament on Friday evening at the Högslättens Ishall Arena.

Norris registered assists on all three U.S. Goals scored by forwards Grant Mismash (Edina, Minn.) and Michael Pastujov (Bradenton, Fla.) and defenseman Quinn Hughes (Orlando, Fla.). U.S. goaltender Adam Scheel (Lakewood, Ohio) finished the night with 33 saves on 34 shots to earn his first international victory of the season.

With the victory, the U.S. sits atop the tournament leaderboards with six points and a record of 2-0-0. Their remaining games are with Russia (1-0-1) at 7 a.m. ET Saturday and Sweden (1-1-0) at 6 a.m. ET Sunday.
