13th Annual USA Hockey Disabled Hockey Festival Begins Thursday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 13th annual Toyota-USA Hockey Disabled Hockey Festival will take place Thursday through Sunday (April 6-9) in San Jose, California. Featuring 63 teams and 780 players, the event will be held at Solar4America Ice, the official practice facility of the NHL’s San Jose Sharks.

The largest disabled event of its kind, the festival continues to grow and will see this year’s event encompass divisions for four disabled hockey disciplines: blind hockey, sled hockey, special hockey and warrior/standing hockey. In addition, the seventh USA Hockey Sled Hockey National Championship will also take place during the festival and include several members of the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team competing against one another as members of their respective club sled hockey teams.

USA Hockey, in partnership with HockeyTV, will provide live streaming coverage of all games taking place at Solar4America Ice, including the Sled Hockey National Championship.
