PLYMOUTH, Mich. – USA Hockey announced today that Kevin Reiter has been named director of player personnel for its National Team Development Program located at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.
Reiter has spent the last four seasons as USA Hockey’s national goaltending coach, which includes oversight of the Warren Strelow Goaltending Mentor Program in addition to coaching the goaltenders at the NTDP.
The Pittsburgh native has served on the coaching staff at four International Ice Hockey Federation Under-18 Men’s World Championships, helping guide Team USA to gold medals in 2014, 2015 and 2017 and a bronze medal in 2016.
In his new role, Reiter will lead efforts on evaluation and recruiting efforts for the NTDP as well as planning and executing the annual NTDP Evaluation Camp.
ABOUT THE NTDP: USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program enters its 21st season of competition and is based at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. The goal of the full-time development program is to prepare student-athletes under the age of 18 for participation on U.S. National Teams and success in their future hockey careers. Its efforts focus not only on high-caliber participation on the ice, but creating well-rounded individuals off the ice.
