BINGHAMTON, NY – The Binghamton Devils have signed forward Chris Calnan to a one-year, two-way American Hockey League contract. The announcement was made today by Binghamton Devils General Manager Tom Fitzgerald.
Calnan, 23, spent the past four seasons at Boston College where he recorded 56 points (24 goals, 32 assists) in 142 games played. Originally a draft pick of the Chicago Blackhawks in 2012, the 6-foot-2, 210-pound forward helped lead Boston College to the Hockey East Regular Season Championship in 2013-14.
Prior to his time at Boston College, the Norwell, Mass. native put up 49 points (27 goals, 22 assists) in 32 games played with the Eastern Junior Hockey League’s South Shore Kings.
