BINGHAMTON, NY – The Binghamton Devils announced that the club has teamed up with Ziff Law Firm to honor veterans at every home game during the 2017-18 season.
Veterans who are chosen throughout the year will receive four free tickets to a game. During the game, the veteran will be introduced and recognized for his or her military service during a standing ovation from Devils fans.
“We are honored to recognize veterans this season in the Southern Tier,” said Binghamton Devils’ Executive Vice President of Operations Tom Mitchell. “We hope everyone around the area will nominate veterans from to be honored. They have made many sacrifices and we want to show our appreciation in any way possible.”
A representative from the Ziff Law Firm will be on hand to greet the veterans and their families.
“We here at Ziff are thrilled to be able to continue the Veteran of the Game program and excited about the partnership with the Binghamton Devils,” said Ziff managing partner Jim Reed. “We simply cannot thank our veterans or active military personnel nearly enough for their service and sacrifice. This program gives us an opportunity to show a small token of our appreciation.”
Veterans from across the Southern Tier, from Elmira to Binghamton, along with those from the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania, are eligible for the program.
