Thunder Add Forward Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond

Glens Falls, NY – The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today that forward Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond has been signed to a standard player contract.

Letourneau-Leblond, 32, joins the Thunder out of retirement after a career that consisted of over 600 professional games. Letourneau-Leblond began his professional career in Glens Falls with the Adirondack Frostbite in 2005 before he advanced to the ECHL, AHL and NHL with 13 different teams. The Levis, QC native appeared in 41 games in the NHL with New Jersey, Calgary and Pittsburgh, in addition to five playoff contests in 2010. Letourneau-Leblond went on to appear in exactly 500 games in the AHL between regular season and playoff action, concluding with the Toronto Marlies in March 2017.

The Thunder are back in action this evening as they take on the Brampton Beast at 7:00 p.m. Adirondack is home for eight more games during the month of December, continuing next weekend on Friday and Saturday at Cool Insuring Arena.
