The Lockport Regals wrapped up Week #1 of Training Camp at the Pelham Showcase this past weekend. Although the record was 1-3, the team performed well and showed depth in many positions. The Regals started the weekend dropping a close one to Brampton 5-3. They rebounded the next morning with a 6-3 win over Niagara. The evening session saw the team fall to Pelham 5-2 but that was followed up with a strong effort on Sunday morning as the boys fell once again to Pelham 2-1.
Alex Stinis finished the weekend with 6 points and Eric Thur and Tim Lopez finished with 4 points each.
All in all it was a good first outing for the team as they get ready for Week 2 of Training Camp and the move to their new home at the Cornerstone Arena in Lockport.
The Season Home Opener for the team will be on Wednesday, September 12th as the Regals take on Hamilton at 7pm.
