SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—Five different Bengals found the back of the net as Buffalo State roared to a 5-1 non-conference victory tonight over host Skidmore.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Andrew Logar (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield) and Michael Anthony Guerrera (Montreal, QC/OHA) had a goal and an assist each and Colin O’Connor (Kankakee, IL/Providence Catholic), Sam Maddox (St. Louis, MO/Lindburgh) and Zach Remers (Clarence, NY/Canisius) also scored.
Mac Wood (Simcoe, ON/SCS) and Anthony Tulipane (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore East) added two assists apiece.
Connor Minch (Manchester, NH/Manchester Central) finished with 39 saves as the Bengals were outshot 40-27.
O’Connor opened the scoring with his first of the season for the lone marker of the opening period.
Maddox netted his second of the year on the power play in the middle frame.
Logar extended the lead to 3-0 with his first collegiate goal early in the third period.
Guerrera scored less than four minutes later and Remers potted his fourth of the season on the power play to push the advantage to 5-0 with 6:24 remaining.
Skidmore beat Minch for the first and only time just 13 seconds after the Guerrera goal.
Buffalo State was 2 for 2 with the man-advantage, and Skidmore was 0 for 3.
FOR THE FOES
Matt Wolf scored for Skidmore and Brandon Kasel finished with 22 saves.
