The second month of the season is in the books and with that comes a new set of monthly award winners. The November honorees are Noah Delmas, Logan Drackett, and Ludwig Stenlund.

Player of the Month

Noah Delmas – Niagara
Junior, Defense – Schomberg, ONT/Aurora Tigers

Delmas helped lead the Purple Eagles to a 5-2-1 record against conference opponents (5-3-1 overall) to sit atop the Atlantic Hockey standings at the end of November. Delmas picked up 11 points (4 G, 7 A) in those nine games while playing an integral role in the Purple Eagles’ defense, finishing plus-4 and blocking 7 shots. The junior’s month was accentuated by a four-game stretch in which he earned at least two points in every game – the longest multi-point streak of his career. That total made Delmas the fourth-highest scoring defenseman in the country for the month of November – and the highest scoring blue liner in Atlantic Hockey. The 11 points were also tied for 14th overall in the country in scoring during November.

Goalie of the Month

Logan Drackett – RIT
Sophomore, Goalie – Calgary, ALB/Calgary Canucks

Drackett was .500 in his seven starts this month, helping RIT earn points in each conference weekend series of the month. He totaled 173 saves in seven starts, the most, 32, coming in a 2-1 win over AIC. That kicked-off a three-game winning streak for the sophomore which concluded with a 25-save, 2-0 shutout victory, the first of his career, over Canisius. Overall, he was second in the league amongst qualified goaltenders in save percentage and goals against average.

Rookie of the Month

Ludwig Stenlund – Niagara
Freshman, Forward – Skellefteå, SWE/Madison Capitols

Stenlund finished November with eight points (3 G, 5 A) in nine games that saw Niagara go 5-3-1, including 5-2-1 against Atlantic Hockey teams. Stenlund’s five assists in November were tied for the most from any freshmen. His five power play points (2 G, 3 A) were the most in the conference. Nationally, Stendlund’s finished the month tied for seventh overall among rookies with his eight points. However, solely against conference opponents, the Swede tied for second in the country in the same category.
