Brooke Becker opened the scoring 41 seconds into the game and at the end of the evening had logged a hattrick.
Frontier/Lakeshore/Orchard Park continued on their winning streak as they topped Niagara County 9-1 at Hockey Outlet Monday (Jan. 7) night.
Niagara County’s Natalie O’Brien scored their only goal for the evening at 6:12 of the first period. Niagara County, despite the score, came out strong and seems to be a team that is coming together and gaining experience with each game.
Also scoring for FLOP were Grace Hennigan, Jenna Dickson, Keegan Shanahan, Baillie Colling and Jessica Peters. Peters had two goals in the game and Shanahan scored on the powerplay.
In net for FLOP was Tori Cottrell and Kristen Heard and making the saves for Niagara County, Annie Riek.
