The 8th annual Next Level Hockey Development Exposure Camp will run from August 12th-16th, 2019. The camp has sold out the previous years and is expected to sell out this year. What is unique about the Next Level Girls Ice Hockey Development Exposure Camp is that it is led by current women’s college hockey coaches with a different coach providing the on ice instruction each day. This year the coaching staff’s will be comprised of Division 1 and Division 3 Coaches. As in the past, the college coaches will be running the on ice sessions. In addition, the camp counselors, who will be working with the players both on and off the ice, are all current or former college hockey players. Each day the coach’s focus will be working on a different skill set and theme.
This camp provides an excellent opportunity for players to gain exposure and insight from the college coaches. It is also an excellent training camp for players, as they get ready for the upcoming season. It is an all day camp held at the Nichols School rink with the focus on becoming a better all-around hockey player. The camp will focus on skating, stick handling, shooting (finishing), and passing. The players will also be coached in the fundamentals of offensive and defensive strategies, as well as team play.
Each player will receive a written evaluation report at the end of the camp. There is also a dedicated one hour goalie session each day with two goalie coaches on the ice running the session. All on ice sessions will also include a goalie coach. All players will receive a Next Level Hockey jersey for the camp.
