All 22 teams to take part in fourth annual showcase in Burlington, ON

Mississauga, ON – The Ontario Junior Hockey League announced today that registration for its fourth annual OJHL Combine is now open. The combine will be held March 26-29, 2020 at the StoneRidge Ice Centre (formerly Wave Twin Rinks) in Burlington, ON.

The 2019 combine was a tremendous success, with 41 players advancing to a higher level this season. Twenty-two combine graduates are playing in the OJHL this season, as rostered or affiliated players.
“The OJHL Combine provides players with the opportunity to showcase their talents directly to our 22 clubs,” said Marty Savoy, Commissioner of the OJHL. “We know it works for the players and our teams. We saw a number of the players from last season’s combine signed by our clubs as either an Affiliate Player or a full-time player.”
All 210 players will showcase their skills while playing a high-calibre of hockey in front of OJHL general managers, coaches and scouts. The event program offers a team practice, seminars, including an always-popular session presented by College Hockey Inc. – the marketing arm of NCAA Division 1 hockey.

Players and their families will be invited to a meet-and-greet to speak to officials from the OJHL teams of their choice.

Each player will be guaranteed four games with real-time scoring. Games will be three 15-minute, non-stop-time periods with a four-minute warm-up. Players will also receive an event jersey, as well as a participation gift.
Each player will also have an scout evaluation done by their team coach on their play and skills. The top players at the combine will be recognized by the OJHL and scouts in attendance at the end of the event with a special award presented by Jostens Canada.

Other OJHL sponsors taking part in Combine weekend include Warrior Hockey, Q-Collar, BIOSteel and ClifBar.

Registration is available to players who think they have what it takes to play in the OJHL in the birth years 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.
This event is open to non-CJHL registered players only. American-born players must provide proof of insurance. There are no refunds.
