Griffin Luce is this season’s winner of the Joseph E. Barss Award. It is presented each season to the player who best exemplifies the true team player. This award honors the memory of Dr. Joseph E. Barss, who served as Michigan’s first varsity hockey coach from 1922-27.
The 22 year-old Luce, a senior at the University of Michigan, is a native of Williamsville, NY. He just completed his fourth season of play at Michigan.
