Although in the early stages of the 2020-21 season, but with a handful of games under their belt, College Hockey America has awarded one of its November honors to Rayla Clemons.
Rookie of the Month
Rayla Clemons – Syracuse
Freshman, Forward – Franklin, MI/Pittsburgh Pens Elite
Rayla Clemons scored points in all three Syracuse games to start the season totaling four points, on two goals and two assists. In her first game, she scored a goal on her first collegiate shift, just 1:07 into the game, and followed that up with another goal 14 minutes later to give Syracuse a 2-0 lead. She tied for 13th nationally in goals per game, and tied for 3rd nationally in points per game by a freshman.
