“You can use your current experience and/or qualification to become a teacher of English. You do not have to be working in the Education sector. All that’s needed is fluency in English, an English-teaching certificate such as a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate, and, of course, a need for adventure,” Ms Triggs said
“You can become a qualified teacher of English overseas within a couple of months.
“Often the hardest part is deciding where to go…China, Turkey, Costa Rica, Russia, Cambodia, Brazil, Colombia, Vietnam, Hungary, Mexico!”
Learning to teach English is simple and the courses run by Teach International are fun and interactive, comprising an in-class component of three evenings and a weekend, 60 hours over the Internet, plus a practical teaching component.
