Buffalo, NY — The Boston Bruins defeated the Buffalo Sabres, 4-1. It was the first loss of the season for the Sabres, who are now 3-1-0-0.
Former Sabres netminder, Linus Ullmark, was in net for the Bruins, giving up just one goal. Another former Sabre, Taylor Hall, had a goal and and an assist on the night.
Victor Olofsson had the lone goal for the Sabres.
